- Provide accurate and truthful information when requested
- Use our website and services responsibly and ethically
- Refrain from unauthorized use, including attempts to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Pricing and Payment
Prices for our services may be displayed on our website and are subject to change without notice. Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments may be subject to additional fees or suspension of future service.
Cancellations
You may cancel a service appointment by providing at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation or service fee to cover scheduling, travel, and lost service time.
Condition of Equipment
Clients acknowledge that cutting boards may already have wear, damage, warping, cracking, gouging, thinning, or other structural issues prior to service. Cutting Board Doctors is not responsible for failures, defects, or performance issues resulting from pre-existing conditions.
Service Limitations
Resurfacing removes material from the cutting board. While every effort is made to preserve board integrity, final thickness and appearance may vary depending on the board’s original condition. Boards deemed unsafe, excessively worn, or below acceptable thickness may be recommended for replacement instead of resurfacing.
Custom Replacement Boards
Replacement boards are manufactured based on measurements provided by the client or taken on-site. Minor variations may occur. The client is responsible for confirming fitment, dimensions, and intended use requirements prior to production and installation.
Food Safety Responsibility
While our services are intended to improve the condition of cutting boards, the client remains solely responsible for proper sanitation, maintenance, handling, storage, and compliance with all applicable food safety laws, regulations, and inspection requirements after service is completed.
Site Access and Conditions
The client agrees to provide safe, reasonable, and timely access to the work area. Cutting Board Doctors is not responsible for delays, incomplete service, or additional costs caused by unsafe conditions, restricted access, site interruptions, or circumstances beyond our control.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cutting Board Doctors is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from:
- Your use of our website or services
- Delays, interruptions, or inability to provide service
- Loss of data or unauthorized access to your information
- Pre-existing board defects or failures after service
- Improper use, cleaning, sanitation, storage, or maintenance after service
- Health inspection findings, contamination claims, business interruption, or loss of revenue related to the use of serviced or replacement boards
No Warranty
Unless otherwise stated in writing, services and replacement products are provided on an “as is” basis without guarantees of future lifespan, performance, or suitability beyond the work performed. Actual longevity depends on usage, cleaning methods, environmental conditions, and ongoing maintenance.
